- Advocate the AAUW mission of advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
- More effectively communicate with our membership using; educational programs, DAW website, email blasts, the Advocate, while finding a way to stay connected to members who do not use the web.
- Deliver a successful Holiday Home Tour to generate $20,000 net revenue for Local Branch Scholarships for women and Tech Trek Camps for middle-school girls by; maximizing branch participation and volunteer support for the tour, effective advertising, inter-branch networking, and outreach to publicize the event.
- Deliver a successful Garden Tour that will generate $21,000 net to support our AAUW Funds and in particular, the 45th Anniversary Fellowship.
- Deliver one program that enhances member’s knowledge of one key AAUW Public Policy issue.
- Deliver three programs that incorporate the current goals of both State and National AAUW.
- Retain 85% of our current membership and look for opportunities to bring 25 new members into the branch.
- Support our community by having at least 30 DAW members docent at Expanding your Horizons.
- Develop a more concise budget report that will enable the Board to more quickly identify possible budget issues. Report should include a summary of budget vs. actual on one page for quick analysis.
- Write meeting minutes that are concise but comprehensive. Whenever possible, keep the minutes to two pages.
- More effectively use the DAW Web Site to; disseminate information, streamline processes, provide a password protected page for posting sensitive information, and by developing new ways to use the site. Continue to communicate with non-web users through the use of US mail and phone calls.
