Instead of holding our usual Third Thursday Program, DAW branch members are invited to be guests of the San Ramon branch at their March program.

Join our sister branch for a relaxed conversation focused on the current climate and public education issues in the San Ramon Valley School District. School Board President Laura Bratt will be interviewed by Ravneet Julka, local PTA leader, parent, and lawyer. This educational and inspirational program will expand on the AAUW CA initiative, The School Board Project, plus National’s recent presentation School Boards: The Battleground for the Education Culture Wars.

Don’t miss this opportunity to gain a better understanding of what SRVUSD School Board and other School Boards around the nation are facing. Policy for Attending Branch Functions

If you are feeling ill in any way or have been in close contact with someone known to have COVID or any other significant communicable disease, please do not attend any meeting!

We encourage you to be considerate of everyone attending a function, some of whom might be more susceptible than others. COVID exposure remains a serious issue. If you have any doubts, test, wear a mask, and err on the side of caution.

While there are inherent risks in attending any in-person event, with your help we will do our best to keep everyone safe at our meetings.
