Mangia Mi Dinner Fundraiser

The  2022 fundraising event on November 7th, partnering with Danville restaurant Mangia Mi, was a great success! Pat Morris, Fundraising Chair, organized 8 volunteer drivers who delivered 72 tasty meals that evening. Thanks to the many members who ordered dinners and tipped generously, we raised $1,917 to support our branch activities.

Want a Break from Cooking Dinner?

Join the fun in ordering a delicious three-course dinner from Danville’s  Mangia Mi Gourmet Italian Kitchen and Bar that will be delivered by an AAUW member volunteer right to your door!

The dinner’s date is Monday, November 7th, 2022 with deliveries between 4:30 – 6:30PM. The 3-course dinner will include: Salad, Entrée (choose from below) and Petite Dessert.

This amazing dinner, delivered to your doorstep, will cost only: $49 per dinner. Tips are greatly appreciated.  For each meal, $19 plus any tips will support AAUW’s branch goals of advancing equity for women and girls.

2021 Mangia Mia Fundraiser A Great Success! 

(April 2021 Recap)  Wow!  This membership sure likes to eat.  We had another fabulous fundraiser.  This time our profits went to Tech Trek 2022.  We should all be immensely proud of ourselves.  We raised $2,101.37 for Tech Trek.

The Fundraising Committee of Susan Terzuoli, Liz Williams and Robin Halloran thank the membership and all our wonderful helpers.  We cannot raise these funds without your generous participation.

  • Special thanks go to Deborah Wechsler for creating and managing our spreadsheet of orders. It was a huge job, especially since there was no template for her to follow.
  • Liz Williams confirmed all our orders, another huge job.
  • Susan Terzuoli found and organized all the drivers. Her husband joined in the delivering for a second time.  Thank you, Frank.

Special thanks go to Peter Cedolini, the owner of Mangia Mi.  As always, his dinners were delicious – loved the butter cake.  Peter was so well organized, and things proceeded smoothly from start to finish.  His crew was on top of cooking our orders and making sure everything was hot and ready to go on time.
