The November Third Thursday Member Meeting will be grounded in well-being.
We’ll open with a focus on the importance of nurturing wellness in public schools. Jessica Coulson, Coordinator, Social Emotional Learning for SRVUSD, will discuss the what the curriculum for mental health in the school district includes and how it fits in with the overall strategy for educating K-12 students.
Then our favorite local yoga instructor and practitioner, Praveena Chinthaluri, who guided a session for us last year, will return to guide us in a 30-minute healing chair practice. Please dress comfortably if you wish to participate; no prior experience required.
AAUW members and other interested people are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Policy for Attending Branch Functions
If you are feeling ill in any way or have been in close contact with someone known to have COVID or any other significant communicable disease, please do not attend any meeting!
We encourage you to be considerate of everyone attending a function, some of whom might be more susceptible than others. COVID exposure remains a serious issue. If you have any doubts, test, wear a mask, and err on the side of caution.
While there are inherent risks in attending any in-person event, with your help we will do our best to keep everyone safe at our meetings.
