Holiday Gathering – held December 18, 2025 

A merry group of DAW branch members, significant others, and guests shared tasty snacks and holiday beverages at Deborah Wechsler and her husband Bruce’s home on December 18. Several members displayed their creative works, and party-goers were encouraged to add their own artwork to a poster board to help inspire imaginations. Once again Chris Ritter played the piano, leading the group in rousing renderings of holiday songs. It was a wonderful, festive way to finish 2025 and look forward to a joyous 2026!

“Holiday celebrations around the winter solstice are always about the festival of lights like Diwali, Hanukkah, and Christmas. I was delighted that we started with lighting the menorah and ended by singing Christmas carols. Next time let’s add a diwali lamp! The food, the camaraderie, and the warm hospitality truly reflected the spirit of AAUW and the season.”
