Third Thursday Community Program

Celebrate Women’s Month with Dr. Nia Imara, noted astrophysicist, artist, and author of Painting the Cosmos: How Art and Science Intersect to Reveal the Secrets of the Universe, as she talks about the interconnectedness of art and science. Dr. Imara is the first woman of color to graduate with a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of California Berkeley.

Instead of DAW’s usual Third Thursday Community Program, all DAW members and friends are invited as guests of AAUW San Ramon to this event that’s sure to be fascinating. The San Ramon branch is presenting this free program in partnership with the San Ramon Library.
