Contra Costa Regional Health Foundation

During this pandemic, CCRHF is the central funder working with our County Health and Human Services, to distribute funds to organizations serving our most at risk residents. The focus is on those who are home or food insecure, have lost their work, who have pre-existing conditions and disabilities, are at higher risk, and are more likely to die from COVID-19.

CCRHF has been designated as a Regional Lead for COVID-19 Response, and through its COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund is accepting applications from organizations that are serving vulnerable individuals and families. These applications will be evaluated by a team of CCRHF and health and social services providers. We ask that AAUW members forward applications to organizations that are trying to respond and need help doing so. This includes organizations that are employing at risk individuals, e.g. gig workers, undocumented individuals, agricultural workers etc. Information and applications are available at the links below:

If members are interested in donating to the fund, they may at the website above, but our biggest need now is finding needy organizations that can act in a timely manner to help individuals and families.
