DAW AAUW Partner Opportunities for Businesses
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) was founded in 1881 by a small group of female college graduates to improve women’s career opportunities and to encourage more women to pursue higher education. Today, the AAUW is a national charitable membership organization with a network of more than 170,000 members and supporters, 1,000 local branches, and 800 college and university partners.
We are a non-profit, non-partisan organization with the mission to advance equity for women and girls through research, education and advocacy. Our local Danville-Alamo-Walnut Creek branch (DAW AAUW) sponsors educational programs, funds scholarships for local women and science camps for local 8th grade girls as well as leads a variety of advocacy efforts to advance our Policy Positions.
